I first met Dom and Gemma at this lovely wedding of their best friends, where Gemma was a gorgeous bridesmaid with her twin sister Rachel. When they got in touch after Dom had proposed, I was over the moon that they wanted me to shoot their wedding – this group really are the nicest bunch of people you could ever hope to meet. Dom & Gem are big film fans and decided on a proper red carpet feel to their big day, with these amazing movie posters designed by bridesmaid Sam with a photo from our pre-wedding shoot at the Duke of York’s cinema. Sam created all the stationary, favours and table plans – she is so creative and has her own wedding stationary design business (see here!) Dom & Gemma chose the lovely rustic Upwaltham Barns to host their big day and filled it with flowers, good food and lovely lovely people… the perfect ingredients for a brilliant wedding! A special mention here to Gemma’s INCREDIBLE choice of wedding dress, have you ever seen anything like it? It is an Ian Stuart design and was absolutely breathtaking – it just suited Gemma so well, she looked stunning, definitely one of my favourites dresses this year :). All in all it was one of the best weddings I’ve been too, and have never laughed so much – mainly due to Dom’s brother Josh who honestly should be a stand-up comedian – he is proper funny!! Lovely day and lovely people, huge congrats Mr & Mrs W! xxxx
