I’ve been looking forward to sharing this wedding with you for a few months now and wanted to keep it til near Christmas as it’s such a treat. And there’s something about the colour red that just makes me feel a bit festive, and this wedding is jampacked with scrummy red details (including red lippy – my fave!!) To put it mildly I LOVE this scrummy couple. Evelyn and Rob are quite simply the loveliest people you could ever hope to meet, and I feel like I’ve known them for ages (and not just because they booked me two years before their big day!). Their Hilton Avisford Park Hotel wedding really was one of the highlights of my year – seeing this lovely couple walk down the aisle together just beaming at each other was such a perfect moment. Everything about the day just summed up their love of old school romance – don’t they just look like something out of a Hollywood film? Evelyn and Rob are each other’s soulmates, they absolutely adore each other and it’s clear to see how much they mean to each other. The way Rob looks at Evelyn would melt the hardest of hearts – and the photo of their first dance just sums up everything about the magic between these two (and is one of my fave pics from the year!!)
I call Evelyn my Superbride because she really is such a superstar. Not only do we share a love of red lippy, cats, cake, stationary, and all things weddingy, but she is such lovely company. She is wise beyond her years and I’m so happy to have had the chance to get to know her and Rob during the time leading up to their wedding day. Huge congratulations you lovely people – and let’s meet up for cake soooon!!
