My beautiful friend’s big Brightony wedding

Earlier this year in April, this gorgeous couple chose to have a really lovely wedding day by the seaside with a lovely ceremony at Brighton Town Hall and reception at The White Horse in Rottingdean. These two are one of my favourite couples from this year so far, although I am teensy biased as Rachel is a good friend of mine! When she told me Darren had proposed last Christmas, I was so excited as a) it meant I could bore on about weddings with one of my friends, and b) I knew what a blimmin’ gorgeous bride & groom… Read more

Happy Fathers Day… a Dads at Weddings special post!

Happy Father’s Day everyone! Today’s blog post is a celebration of those very special people – Dads at weddings! They’re the ones who’ll cry the first time they see you in your dress, that will calm you down on the drive to the church, who’ll help you out the car and will hold your bouquet whenever you ask them to (which I think quite suits a Dad). It’s like rain on your wedding day – Nadine & James’ soggy e-shoot

One question I do get asked a lot when I meet new brides & grooms is… what happens if it rains on our wedding day? Well, I’ll let you into a little secret – I actually love the rain, it can add a real romance to the feel of the photos, and there’s nothing cuter than a bride in wellies cuddling her new hubby under an umbrella (see here is you don’t believe me!) But on every wedding day, we play it a bit by ear, and my priority is that my couple are comfortable, happy and feeling good –… Read more

Beautiful spring Pangdean Barn wedding & a ticket to love for Emmugh!

Aaaah the lovely Emmugh! Yes – not often do you get a couple come with a readymade cute nickname, but Emma & Hugh cleverly incorporated their supercouple name into their whole wedding theme! Emma was brought up in France, and these two lovelies have friends & family all over the world – so travel, maps and the whole world of adventure was a large part of the wedding day – from the boarding pass wedding invite for Emmugh Airlines, to the map bowties and cufflinks (handmade by the super talented Groom’s mum!) This gorgeous couple chose to have a Pangdean… Read more

A springtime baby photoshoot in a gorgeous arty house – with chickens!

I’ve got something a bit different to share with you today, and I’ve been really looking forward to blogging this photoshoot. For the last few years I’ve focused my energies on purely working as a wedding photographer, but every now and then a lovely enquiry comes along for a family photoshoot which I just can’t say no to! I first met Anna at a wedding where she’d designed the artwork for her friend – and ever since I’ve been a massive fan of her work. She is a very talented artist who makes seriously beautiful interesting pieces of work. She… Read more
