A springtime baby photoshoot in a gorgeous arty house – with chickens!

I’ve got something a bit different to share with you today, and I’ve been really looking forward to blogging this photoshoot. For the last few years I’ve focused my energies on purely working as a wedding photographer, but every now and then a lovely enquiry comes along for a family photoshoot which I just can’t say no to! I first met Anna at a wedding where she’d designed the artwork for her friend – and ever since I’ve been a massive fan of her work. She is a very talented artist who makes seriously beautiful interesting pieces of work. She also makes very beautiful babies – as evident in her lovely Little Miss who I had the pleasure of meeting in March! We didn’t want to do the usual cheesy family shots, and Anna’s gorgeous house was full of so many interesting quirky things, so we spent a lovely couple of hours having a cup of tea and a mooch round the house and garden. We even got to involve the pet chickens!! What’s that they say about never working with children and animals – ha, I was blessed with Anna’s chilled out supermodel baby and a pretty cool chicken 🙂 I hope you enjoy this gorgeous girl’s cheeky little face, and thank you so much for asking me to spend a bit of time with your gorgeous family Anna! xxx
