Pangdean Barn wedding – Lisa & Paul’s rustic DIY big day!

May is such a gorgeous time of year to get married – spring has sprung, summer days and long evenings are just round the corner, and everything in the garden always looks lovely. So I was so excited about photographing Lisa and Paul’s beautiful wedding in May this year, who chose St Margerets Church in Rottingdean and then onto Pangdean Barns to celebrate their most special day. Oooh and it was such a fab wedding – Lisa and her mum (and I’m sure Paul too eh hem) had worked so hard making nearly every single detail – they are so talented and creative! Lisa customised her grandmother’s vintage flower crown and made all the flower crowns for her 10 (!!) bridesmaids; her mum handmade every one of the 10 bridesmaids dresses (!!!); and they all worked so hard filling Pangdean with the most beautiful details – just check out the table centrepieces, which have photos of every single guest in little jamjar frames. What a labour of love! And don’t think Paul was sitting idle – he spent a lot of time and hard work making sure that he could have a good game of binball during the day (it requires a bin, a ball and a lot of drunk men – this as far as I could tell was the main rules). Was very funny though. Pangdean, as always, was the most stunning location – they are so great there and just check out the pavlova wedding cake – YUM! An amazing day, with so much inspiration – hope you love this as much as I do! xxx
