Well, today I have a right treat of a wedding to share with you – it’s just made me so happy going through these photos! The absolutely gorgeous Lois married her lovely Mike at Great Ote Hall earlier this summer, and wow what a super stylish, super chilled and just totally scrummy wedding they had! I had so enjoyed photographing these two at their engagement shoot, and I knew their wedding was going to be something a bit special – but I was a bit gobsmacked when I saw just how gorgeous it all was. Lois & Mike did things a bit differently (they had two ceremonies – an intimate one within the house, and a larger outdoor ceremony with all their guests) and instead of the traditional seated wedding breakfast, they opted for a very chic casual affair with bowl food (first time I’ve seen that – totally awesome!), and relaxed sofas. And everything looked so stylish all in white. It was such a unique day with so many smiles, hugs, laughs and happy tears – special mention goes to pagedog Jazz (oh look at his little suit!!!), the incredible peony bouquets, the Jimmy Choos (yeah baby!), Nan having a shot (go Nan!)… ooh yes and the sun! Which made an unscheduled, but very much appreciated, appearance all day. This was my first Great Ote Hall wedding too – and what a little hidden gem this venue is, I just loved it. There are hundreds of photos because I can’t choose any less – it’s just all too scrummy. Huge congratulations Mr & Mrs Smits – I’m really missing you guys already! xxxxx
