Horsted Place wedding – a gorgeous autumn day for Sam & Hannah

I do love an autumn wedding – they can be cold and a bit rainy, but the trade off is all the beautiful colours in the trees and cosy fires indoors. And what better wedding to show this than Sam & Hannah’s gorgeous Horsted Place wedding this November. It did rain (a lot) but we still got outside and made the most of Horsted’s stunning grounds – it really is such a beautiful venue nestled amongst lovely mature autumn trees 🙂 I met Sam and Hannah through photographing their lovely friend’s wedding last year, and was so excited about their big day – Hannah looked so stunning in her lovely dress, and there were lots of lovely personal touches throughout their wedding… Sam’s mum had made all the bunting (how cute is that!), and the favours were Maynard’s wine gums and bottles of Jeremiah’s Weed (in reference to their surnames). I’d not heard of Jeremiah’s Weed before – but basically its whiskey! We even had a bit of sparkler action at the end of the day (not put off by the pouring rain we did this in the porch!). So all in all it was a really good knees up with a fantastic group of people – huge congratulations Sam & Hannah! xxxx

Ooh you’re a clever one Sara! A beautiful set of images with bags of charm and character and wonderful light, especially the ones in amongst the trees leading up to Horsted Place. It’s clear that you’re really thinking carefully about your shot selection and your observation and planning are standing you in good stead. Really lovely!
