Grace & Adam are very special. They are the first people to ever get married on the actual beach in Brighton! How cool is that!? What an honour to be there to capture this special seaside ceremony and lovely Alfresco Brighton wedding. Grace & Adam have explored all around the world (and in fact met whilst travelling!), and have walked on so many beaches together – that it only seemed fitting to get married next to the sea. Which sounds just like absolute bliss doesn’t it! However, there’s a reason beach weddings aren’t a huge thing over in here in the UK, and it’s because, yes you guessed it… the weather can be a bit unpredictable. Hmmmmmm. So as it turned out, this wedding has another reason to go down in history – it was the WETTEST wedding I have ever been to – horizontal driving rain coming straight off the sea, right at this lovely wedding party in deckchairs! And do you know what, it didn’t matter a bit. It was such a good atmosphere, everyone laughing at how crazy the rain was, all squidged under brollies! The guests partied inside lovely Alfrescos, and we all even got treated to a surprise trip up the i360! I absolutely love Grace & Adam to bits, who did not moan or get upset – they just tiptoed through the puddles, smiled their gorgeous big smiles and got on with having the best day of their lives.
So if you ever wondered why you should pay good money for a wedding photographer, then this is a perfect example of why – no matter what the weather or conditions, even if my cameras are dripping wet and everyone is soaked to the bone, you need to know that your photos will still look gorgeous and that I won’t miss a moment. I’m really proud of these wedding photos – it was the toughest conditions I’ve ever worked in, and I think everything still looks just so lovely. Huge congrats Grace & Adam – your wedding was one I’ll never forget!!! xxx
