Aaaah the Great British summer – don’t you just love it? One day you are absolutely sweltering in a heatwave, the next it’s pouring with rain and on with the wellies. Vicky & Nick decided to have their Wiston House wedding on 24th August this year – one of the hottest summers on record – and guess what? Yep, it rained. Pretty much all day non-stop. But fortunately they’d chosen one of the very bestest places in Sussex to have their wedding – Wiston House yaaaayy! So no-one minded the weather as there were so many lovely light spacious inside places to enjoy their wedding, so in fact it made no difference at all. Vicky and Nick are a super-sweet couple who I had the pleasure of photographing back in winter for their pre-wedding shoot – so I knew they could do warm and cosy and still look gorgeous :). They had their ceremony at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Brighton – a stunning light church with all their friends and family – and then hotfooted it over to Wiston House in Steyning to continue their celebrations. It was an absolutely beautiful day with lots of giggles and some fine dancing in the evening! Congrats to you Vicky & Nick! x
