2012: My year in weddings

Wow – what an amazing year 2012 has been!! It is an actual fact that my clients are the best in the world – and I’m so honoured to have shared the biggest day of their lives with the most beautiful, funny, creative and unique brides & grooms. I’ve seen brides arrive by tractor, horse & carriage, vintage buses and golf buggies; I’ve had grooms pacing nervously, getting plastered and learning what ‘monkeying up’ is; I’ve been sung Wuthering Heights by a group of bridesmaids, got a bride to wear Minnie Mouse ears, and have been a witness at a wedding; I’ve clung onto a bride for dear life whilst being hurled round the back of a pick-up, and I have dined on venison stew; I’ve laughed so much that my sides have hurt, and have shed more than a few tears during ceremonies, speeches and sometimes ‘cos it’s all just so darn perfect. In short, I have had the most incredible year and have made some real friends, and THANK YOU so so much to you lovely brides and grooms for letting me have the job of my dreams. You guys have made my year, you are all beyond amazing xxxxxxxxxx
