Ray and Alice are explorers – proper explorers with a taste for adventure and an amazing perspective to travel the world! Just before they pack up their bags to move to Australia, this lovely couple decided to get married and have a lovely relaxed wedding day with their friends and family – choosing Alfriston as the village to hold their celebrations. And we were so blessed with the weather – the lovely winter sun shone down and just bought a lovely romantic light to the day. There is a ton of inspiration in this wedding, with a real travelling theme… – the table plan and tables were names after places around the world, there were hearts made of maps hanging from the windows and scattered on the tables – and look at these incredible centrepieces… flowers made out of pages of books! Aren’t they incredible?! Full credit goes to Dawn the clever bridesmaid for making all of these and the gorgeous buttonholes too. The George Inn in Alfriston is a stunning place for a winter wedding with roaring fires and a real cosy feel to it – it was a perfect day for Ray & Alice, and a perfect way to see winter off!
