Barcombe Village Hall Wedding {Fiona & Chris}

brighton wedding photographer, sussex wedding photographer, barcombe village hall wedding

The thing I love most about weddings is that no two are ever the same.  I have some clients who want to keep things really simple, I have clients who run off just the two of them, and I have couples like this lovely pair who really go to town on all the twiddly bits!! The gorgeous Fiona & Chris worked so hard on every single little DIY detail of their Barcombe Village Hall wedding day.  Fiona & Chris’s really was a labour of love and they completely transformed Barcombe Village Hall into a colourful explosion of vintage wonderment.  Against this gorgeous backdrop, their big day was such a beautiful family affair – with hay bales, afternoon tea, lawn games and the most stunning cake table (topped by the gorgeous main handpainted cake by the supertalented Murray Me cakes).  Which tasted as good as it looked!!!

It was a really lovely relaxed day, full of so much love for this couple and was one of my favourites of last year.  And after over photographing over 200 weddings, it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a Groom buy his wife a brand new iron as a wedding gift, with the touching words “You’ll need this once we are wedlock”.  Ooooh Chris you are a cheeky monkey – good job your gorgeous girl has such a good sense of humour!!  BIg hugs F&C, you are the best! xxx
