Awwwwwwwwwww….. That’s the noise I’ve been mainly making looking through these photos of Emma & Luke’s wedding day. I love these two gorgeous people, who are proper lovely and have proper lovely family and friends. I first met this scrummy pair two years ago when I photographed Emma’s brother Steve’s gorgeous wedding – so I was so chuffed to bits when they got in touch after their engagement. They chose to have their wedding at one of the nicest venues in Sussex – the Walled Garden in Cowdray. I’ve photographed several Walled Garden at Cowdray weddings, and it’s absolutely stunning with the most amazing gardens and grounds – it’s also next door to the Cowdray Ruins which we made the most of for our photos too!
Gorgeous food, amazing flowers by Angel Like Flowers, and Luke’s brother’s band entertained the guests long into the night. And it’s always so nice to see my couples a few years down the line looking all happy and settled into family life, so to get to meet Steve & Jo’s little baby was such a treat. What a stunner he and his new cousin are!
Emma and Luke are the kindest, most smiliest, most generous and most beautiful couple, who really made me feel more like a guest at their wedding. What I love looking through these is just how happy everyone is – even the tears are happy tears. It was a proper knees up of a big day, and it was a real honour to be there for them. I know I often say that – but I really do mean it – it’s an absolute honour to get to work with such lovely people and to share every moment of their big day. Thank you Emma & Luke, and wishing you many many happy years of memories looking through these piccies!
