There’s just something really special about Barns. Especially in spring – when everything is coming into flower, and the gardens and fields around are just bursting with life and energy. They create such a magical setting for a wedding – full of new starts, promises and beauty. And this Upwaltham Barns wedding definitely was the perfect backdrop for these two gorgeousnesses – my beautiful bride and groom Claire & Simon. I am extremely fond of these two, who I got to know during their wedding planning, – they are the most kind, thoughtful, gentle and really blooming intelligent people you could ever hope to meet. And they filled their barn with a room full of people who felt exactly the same and just loved them to bits – family and friends who were so over the moon for them. I loved looking back through their photos – and what really stood out for me was just the sheer happiness of the day, all those big smiles, and giggles, and happy tears and excited faces. Ooh yes, that and the hilarious dancefloor antics with the ceilidh – the best wedding party I’ve ever seen as every single guest got involved (even if no-one knew what they were doing!!!).
