Stanmer House Wedding {Amy & Jonny}

 ….                                                                                  Awww and today I present to you the lovely Amy & Jonny. And George – I must not forget this cheeky little monkey that belongs to Amy & Jonny! Well, what a gorgeous wedding day this lovely little family had – Amy and Jonny chose to have a Stanmer House wedding, and kept it very relaxed and lowkey with immediate family only – so a lovely intimate celebration with their very best people. And it was properly brilliant, and as over a third of the guests were kids, you know that the day was full of laughter, impromptu giggling, sliding down the stairs face first, the odd spilt drink and the occasional refusal to smile for a photo – and that was just the Groom (hehehehe, not really Jonny you were very well behaved). I have to say, I do love kids at weddings – they have absolutely no filter, and if they’re bored/hungry/thirsty/need the loo they’ll let you know. At any time of the day. And there’s something about that that is very refreshing when everyone else is on their best behaviour! And George was an absolute superstar, full of smiles all day – check out his little kilt too! Cute!

This was also my first trip to Stanmer House to photograph a wedding – quite how I’ve managed to wait this long I don’t know as it is pretty much the nearest wedding venue to my house, and is blimming gorgeous! The building and decor is stunning, and there was something about the light coming through those gorgeous windows that was really magical – I absolutely loved it here, even on a misty overcast wintery day. We even got outside and hunted down some signs of spring (love those daffs!) It was such an honour to photograph Amy & Jonny’s big day – such beautiful friendly, kind loving people who have so many more happy days ahead of them. Big hugs you lovely lot! xxxx
