Every now and then I get an enquiry that instantly makes me fall in love a bit with the bride & groom – and this was exactly the case when Jackie sent me an email enquiring for her big day. Just something about Jackie’s approach and humour really tickled me (she had me at ‘I always seem to gurn in photos’). And when I met her and Marc, I was bowled over by how lovely they are – as we sat and talked through their wedding plans it felt like we’d known each other for ages! To put it quite simply, this couple are absolute superstars – they’re funny, sweet and kind, and they 100% put their trust in me for their wedding day. What more could I ask for?! Oooh yes, and combine that with their amazing friends and family, the most beautiful VW campervan (lovely to meet you Noel and Candy!), how stunning they both looked (how gorgeous is Jackie!) and a lot of laughter and smiles, and this wedding has to be one of my favourites ever. Their wedding day was so relaxed, starting with their ceremony at St Margarets Church Rottingdean, a quick tour of some local landmarks round Kipling Gardens and Peacehaven, ending with a relaxed happy reception at Woodies Golf Club in Peacehaven. Thank you so much Jackie & Marc for being such legends (and humouring me standing outside Big Mouths diner!), and do you know what lovely Jackie – not a gurn in sight! See – I told you, you gorgeous girl!! xxxxx
