Well, 2016 wedding season is now full steam ahead and despite the unseasonal snow (!!) I have had a beautiful spring with lots of gorgeous brides & grooms, and can’t wait to get sharing all the weddings with you! First up is this rather amazing couple – Alison & Denis who chose to have a stunning South Lodge Hotel wedding day (my first visit to South Lodge and I LOVED IT!). When I first met these two I was blown away by what a great team they are – they were planning their wedding alongside just having a new baby and moving house – so they don’t do things by halves. And what I love most about Alison and Denis is that they actually booked me before Denis had even proposed to Alison – how’s that for organisation!! (He was just waiting for that special moment, and you’ll be pleased to hear it was worth the wait!!) Their wedding day was just perfect – they wanted everything to be really relaxed and all about the most important thing to them – family. And what a gorgeous family they are – their little baby just melted my heart with his little face! The wedding was fab, and we even had sparklers to make the most of the dark evening – and a special shout out to the crazy guest who decided to light about 40 sparklers in one go unghghh (note to self, always watch the drunk ones!!). Their day was sparkly, elegant, super laidback and as you can tell by all the huge smiles on everyone’s faces – just really really good fun! Huge congrats to you Alison & Denis, you are an amazing team and such lovely people! xxx
