Yay, I’ve been so excited about sharing this beautiful stylish wedding with you! Emily & Tom found me through the Wedding Industry Awards website, and when they started to outline their day I was so excited about the prospect of photographing their big day! They chose to get married in the gorgeous village of Wadhurst in Sussex where they both grew up, with the reception and celebrations held at Emily’s family home. Tom is Emily’s brother’s best friend so she has grown up with him, and Emily’s family home was so full of memories for them both – where better to celebrate the biggest day of your life! It was a gorgeous, relaxed, elegant day which really was all about two close families coming together. Lots of little touches throughout the day made this so perfect – Emily’s brother played guitar at the church and reception, Tom’s brother-in-law played bagpipes to welcome everyone, Tom’s sister made the cake, Tom’s mum is an artist and made the decorations and dressed the marquee.
