Here’s a rather cute story – just after I’d walked Becki & Steve to the door after our schedule meeting, my 8 year old son turned to me and said “Mummy, that bride is so beautiful, and that groom is so handsome” He looked a bit in love with them both! And do you know what, my small friend is not wrong – these two are absolutely stunning. And what makes them both even more beautiful is that I don’t think they even realise just how blimming gorgeous they are! And without sounding like I’ve fallen in love with them a bit (although I have, and my son definitely has), they are so beautiful inside and out. Just the nicest people ever. So it goes without saying that their stunning PowderMills Hotel wedding day was just the most GORGEOUS wedding day. It was my first visit to PowderMills Hotel, and hopefully not my last as I totally fell in love with it – from the beautiful outside ceremony area overlooking the lake, the acres of woods full of photogenic loveliness – and even their own resident peacock!!! Oh and that gorgeous wisteria that was in full bloom – these portraits with this gorgeous backdrop are some of my very fave ever. And to top off this perfect day, the sun even shone brightly all day. I’m so happy for this lovely couple and their families – they treated me with such hospitality that I pretty much want to be adopted by all of them!!!
