I have to say I struggled to choose the photos for this blog post because – well, just look… just see what a blooming BEAUTIFUL bride Melissa is?! What a beauty (and her lovely groom Steve scrubs up pretty well too!) And to add to this excitement, this was my very first Michelham Priory wedding – what a venue!! It was a scorcher of day, and what bliss just walking around finding lots of romantic shady spots for photos. I loved everything about their wedding – the venue and the team at the Priory are so lovely, and Melissa & Steve had chosen just the right decor to suit it – covering the barn with gorgeous flowers from Pats Flowers (so talented!). Guests were up for a right giggle, and Melissa & Steve just couldn’t have been more gorgeous. My usual approach to a wedding is to let the day unfold and capture everything as it happens, and if I’m lucky I get maybe 15mins with the couple for some romantic shots. But I was very spoilt on this day, as Melissa and Steve wanted loads of piccies of them – so we had loads of time to walk about and find some gorgeous places – including that lovely swishy field in the lovely golden sun!! Aww it makes my heart sing! I love the plate that Melissa’s mum had on her wall of their family home: “Happiness. One feast, One House, One Mutual Happiness”. I couldn’t say it better myself! (He’s a clever fellow that Shakespeare 😉 ) Huge hugs you gorgeous people, you are beautiful inside and out xxx
