People get very worried about the idea of rain on their wedding day,  Tradition says that if it does rain, it’s actually lucky (something about tears & never crying again ever or something, but I think that’s mainly said just to make brides feel better!!!) and I know many a Bride will check the weather forecast about 1 trillion times on the run up to their big day.  This lovely couple weren’t like that at all – Rachel & Troy had planned their gorgeous Laughton Barns wedding, and a little bit of rain was not getting in the way of the best day of their life.  I love it at Laughton Barns, it’s a proper rustic outdoorsy setting run by the most amazing people Circa Events, and it’s famed for its gorgeous scenery and outdoor ceremonies.  But I’m so happy to share this wedding with you to show how beautiful it is in all weathers!  The heavens opened just as the Bride set off from her house, so it was a quick dash into the beautiful light marquee for the ceremomy.  Troy’s Grandad chauffeured the Bride up in his stunning vintage car, and so she didn’t get at all wet!  In fact, he chauffeured us all round the grounds whilst we nipped out in between showers – amazing suspension on his vintage Ford!!!   And do you know, nothing could stop the huge beaming smiles on this lovely couple’s faces – nwaaaaa I just love these two.  Anyway, it never rains ALL day, so after dinner everyone piled outside to enjoy a nice bit of tea and cake on the terrace – and enjoyed the late summer sun that finally decided to show up.  A beautiful day for such a beautiful happy couple, huge congrats lovely Troy & Rachel! xxx
