There are many many exciting things about this wedding. Firstly, it was held on a farm (the gorgeous Blackstock Country Estate wedding) which meant goats, and llamas and other such funny looking animals – just see how nicely this happy goat is smiling in this picture (Please note: this is not a comment I have ever made about one of my wedding photos!!). And the second VERY EXCITING thing is that the lovely Groom Steph is Greek-Cypriot – so that meant lots of very excited family, lots of cheering and hugs, and lots of lovely Ouzo! Growing up, one of my very fave films was ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding’ which was a proper celebration of just how crazy families and traditions are, which made for a great film – but I’m very happy to report there was no chaos or Hollywood-esque drama at this gorgeous wedding. In fact, Steph and his stunning bride Emma planned a very relaxed, very happy day of celebration – with just a few nods to some Greek traditions (I’ve mentioned the ouzo, and they also had a special Greek-Cypriot ceremony, and the first dance where everyone pinned money on them. This last tradition should totally be taken on by more couples!!!) They also finished the day with a very British tradition – with a wedding cake bake off! A massive Fondant Fancy won, which just about sums up how awesome these people are!!! Huge hugs Steph & Emma, you are quite simply completely fantastic xxx
