Upwaltham Barns wedding – Dom & Gemma’s big day

I first met Dom and Gemma at this lovely wedding of their best friends, where Gemma was a gorgeous bridesmaid with her twin sister Rachel. When they got in touch after Dom had proposed, I was over the moon that they wanted me to shoot their wedding – this group really are the nicest bunch of people you could ever hope to meet. Dom & Gem are big film fans and decided on a proper red carpet feel to their big day, with these amazing movie posters designed by bridesmaid Sam with a photo from our pre-wedding shoot at the… Read more

Brighton seaside wedding – James & Mayu’s Japanese-Brighton celebration

I have simply loved looking back through these photographs putting this blog post together. They really make me smile :). James & Mayu found me through the internet search for wedding photographers – which is pretty cool considering they live in Tokyo, Japan and were coming all the way over to Brighton just for their wedding day! How cool is that? I have to admit to being a bit obsessed with Japan – not least because it’s the home of where my cameras are made (yes, I actually am that geeky!) but also because it is such a different culture… Read more

Brighton Hilton Metropole Wedding – Nadine & Andy’s rock n roll wedding

Happy Movember everyone! What better way to celebrate this peculiar month of men growing moustaches, than showing you a most excellent wedding starring a groom with an INCREDIBLE ‘tache!!! And not only that, but the majority of the wedding guests ended up with comedy moustaches due to some brilliant props on each table. Nadine & Andy are definitely not your usual bride & groom – they are cute, quirky and very rock n roll – all of which was reflected in their eclectic wedding day which had birds & moustaches mixing vintage with a bit of old school glamour as… Read more

Upwaltham Barns wedding – a gorgeous rustic day for Amy & Dean

Amy & Dean’s wedding day started off just a little bit rainy. Well that’s an understatement – it was a lot rainy – which is often the case when I’ve set off to Upwaltham Barns for a wedding! But it wasn’t a problem at all as Amy & Dean had chosen such a beautiful venue with lots of lovely places to photographs inside and out. And what a gorgeous day it was – Amy looked absolutely stunning in her lovely dress and beautiful beaming smile, and Dean scrubbed up pretty well too. Highlights of the day for me definitely include… Read more

Firle Place wedding – Tanya & Nick’s elegant 1920s wedding

Wow have I got an absolutely stunning wedding to share with you today! Tanya & Nick’s Firle Place wedding is crammed full of beautiful stylish details, all with a 1920s art deco feel to it. I met Tanya & Nick last year and instantly just knew their wedding was going to be something special – they’d chosen Firle to get married at – with the ceremony at St Peter’s Church and then on to Firle Place’s Riding School to carry on the celebrations. Firle is a very pretty and quirky little village which I’ve previously photographed at and loved every… Read more
