Lancing College Chapel Wedding {Toni & Charlie}

This wedding was always going to be a stunner.  Let me list a few things that the gorgeous Toni & Charlie had planned for their day – starting with their ceremony at the breathtaking Lancing College Chapel, with tons of colourful confetti, then on to Pangdean Old Barns for lots of fun and games including indoor trees, homemade macaroons, an indoor smores station, sparklers and even a BALL PIT!  All weddings need a ball pit I’ve decided, they are hilarious and I’ve never seen such an overexcited bunch of kids (and that was just the groomsmen lol!)  This beautiful day… Read more

I love everything about this very special Anchor Inn at Barcombe wedding.   I love the fact that Jemma & Steve planned their wedding day and booked everything in less than 6 weeks.  I love that their main priorities were family, friends, food and drink. I love that they planned the wedding date entirely around their wedding band (the always awesome Indie Killers)  But the main thing I love about Jemma and Steve, is just what blooming brilliant people they are.  No matter what life throws at them (and you’ll have to trust me, they’ve had their fair share!!) they just smile their gorgeous… Read more

People get very worried about the idea of rain on their wedding day,  Tradition says that if it does rain, it’s actually lucky (something about tears & never crying again ever or something, but I think that’s mainly said just to make brides feel better!!!) and I know many a Bride will check the weather forecast about 1 trillion times on the run up to their big day.  This lovely couple weren’t like that at all – Rachel & Troy had planned their gorgeous Laughton Barns wedding, and a little bit of rain was not getting in the way of the… Read more

It’s so true that when kids come along, they change everything.  When you plan your wedding day and small people are involved, it all becomes a very different day indeed.  And when you think about having an engagement shoot, and your little ones join in, the chances are you won’t get much time or space to gaze lovingly into your other half’s eyes.  But there’s a very strong chance that your shoot will have lots of giggles, quite a bit of chaos, a ton of silly faces, the odd bumped head and great big squishy cuddles.   And you wouldn’t have… Read more

Aww – that look!!!!  That first time that the Father of the Bride sees his beautiful baby girl all dressed up for the biggest day of her life – that look gets me every time.  It’s always so full of pride, and tears, and happiness and sadness, and all sorts of emotion that just well up and you can’t hide it. This is what weddings are about – when your face starts pulling in very strange directions whilst you try not to cry (I’m just thankful I have a camera over my face for most of the day as I… Read more
